Mr. Duncan Marshall was appointed a Member (AM) of the Order of Australia
Mr. Duncan Marshall, who was appointed a Member (AM) of the Order of Australia, gave us words as below.
"I am quietly thrilled to receive this honour. It reflects on my long contribution to the heritage of Australia and many other countries, especially Japan. I have been able to play a significant role regarding several World Heritage sites in Japan, notably the Sites of Japan's Meiji Industrial Revolution, but also through a longstanding international training program organised by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research in Hiroshima. But this is not the end of my career. I look forward to many more years helping to identify, protect and manage important heritage sites throughout the world. I also look forward to many more visits to Japan and continuing my warm collaboration with Japanese colleagues."
